So, I went to Paris...

#Paris, #France was pretty amazing. I hope to share some photos here along with a few reflections of my adventure.

One thing that I found interesting was my preconceived notion that the #Eiffel Tower was super tall. Once I got there, I discovered it was not as tall as I imagined. Upon Googling the actual dimensions, I discovered it is only 1,063 feet (324 meters) tall. I was kind of bummed that I could not go to the top because they were making repairs to some portion of the tower.

So, even if it was shorter than I imagined (not short, but shorter) and even though I could not go up to the top, it was an amazing experience to simply be there, standing under the Tower, in Paris, France.

So dang lucky.

Pretty amazeballs.

Hi there! the repairing won't last long, they do it every few years. I don't know how long you'll be staying in Paris but I recommend to go up on the top cuz it's amazing. Hope you enjoy your travel :)

@laylador, I'm already back home in California. Thanks for the info tho, I will keep it in mind...I may return to Paris next year because it's sometimes lower cost to fly into Paris and take the train to other countries than fly direct.
