Ways your children need you.

Training a child from the onset is required to get the best out of them.
It begins from the day he/she is conceive - good nutrition for the mother, exercise etc and all that are required to have a healthy baby should be given to the mother.

After birth, physical, mental, spiritual and psychological trainings are very important in the life of a child. Children becomes whatever the parent wants them to be through the care, love and training given them.

This is an adage by our elders. When we examine it very well, we'll see it explains perfectly the scenario for which it was used. Training a child to become a good force in the community requires the parents to have a good of what is good and bad. Most parents believe sending a child to the best school curbs the problem of child turning into something they never want. But in fact, most of the children that went to good schools still became wolves among the sheep.
A child was sent to a boarding school abroad without the parent's attention will obviously appears a foreigner to them. He copies whatever lifestyles he is exposed to overthere. No parental care he may get over there that would be like that of his biological parents. So you might want to think twice before allowing your child (ren) to school far away from your reach.

Spend more time with your children just as much you can be dedicated to your high paid job. Never yell at your children. This is one of the psychological way of training a child. It leaves them traumatised and creates fear in them. Correct them with love. Some may say why won't i shout at my kid when he goes wrong badly? This is due to how you had started to train him from the baby age. He is what he is now because you made him/her that way.

Train your child in the way of the Lord. Teach them how to pray, how to study and meditate in the word of God.

Train your child in the right way, so he can give you rest.

True, but the way the system is set up it doesn't really allow young father's to have time to spend with their kids

There's no excuse for not spending time them. As the man, you're in control of your home and work. It's a matter of setting priority between work and family or rather balancing both.

You can't really balance both except you have a really good paying job or investment and a man cannot proritize between working or spending time with his family, work has to come first that's how the family survives
