Learning from my Kids
I have two young boys who are constantly testing their environment. One day I was watching my older child scale the countertop to get a bowl out of the cupboard. I said to him "you know Henry, that was a great trick" to which he replied, "it's not a trick it's a useful process".
It shifted my thinking that kids aren't necessarily trying to give us grey hairs, they just want to figure out the world. So I jotted down this quote with a little sketch to remind me to always be on the lookout for the next "useful process".
