RE: Finally! Back At My Favorite Place….Steemit.

Hey @knowledgeseeker! Welcome back, good to see you here again. You'll notice the myriad of changes on Steem. Most interestingly, now we've got tribes, giving you the chance to earn additional tokens. For that reason we can use up to ten tags. What you might be interested in, are photography and creativecoin for your pictures, leo (related to investing) for your silver posts, naturalmedicine with its lotus coin for homesteading-related posts, and lifestyle, neoxian, and palnet (which you're using already) for just about anything. Go ahead and explore your steemengine, for more info on these and other tokens.
See you around!

Hey @stortebeker, thanks! It looks like there have been a ton of changes here for sure. I know learning which tags to use is definitely going to take some getting used to. Haha!

One question I have is if I have to be staking any of them to use/get the tokens through curation on steem engine? Thanks.

Depends on the token. For example, in the cases of neoxian and photo owning the token is equal to staking it. With leo and lifestyle you'll have to stake them. And yes, I agree, it does take some time to get used to all of this. I know, when they first came out I didn't bother much, only in the last couple of weeks have I sat down to look into them. It's not always easy. Getting on their discord servers is usually the best bet, but even there you'll have to poke around quite a bit to find the answers and explanations you're looking for.

I will have to do that. It would appear that they might be a good way to increase the earnings one gets from their posts, so I can see why it would be worth looking into.

Thanks for the help and ideas! Oh and thanks for the cold one too! Haha!

Oh yeah, and then there is the beer token. It's purpose, from what I understand, is simply this: inviting others for one. It's a nice gesture, even if you don't drink, or don't like the taste. Would you like a beer?

Hey @knowledge-seeker, here is a little bit of BEER for you. Enjoy it!
