Closer to God means one thing, just one thing. It means that you are studying the Word of God every time, and you are praying as you should be.
Praying and reading the Bible is not the only thing that you should do. At every point in time. So it happens that so many Christians actually thought that only when they have prayed and they have read the Bible, that's the only thing.

I will always prefer the Christians that will go out do the evangelism win a souls for Christ. That kind of Christians read the Bible, pray it and is practicing it and is even showing another person the way and bringing another person into the Kingdom of God with what he or she have learnt at that point in time. To me this is the. To wait to be a Christian is not just by you reading the Bible and seeing all the revelations that exist and sharing with your fellow Christians.
