Of the injured, 2,596 people were hospitalized in government hospitals, 773 in nongovernment hospitals and the rest were treated in the field. Of those in government hospitals, 1,499 were hit by live ammunition, 107 by sponge-tipped bullets, 408 suffered gas inhalation and 582 suffered other injuries; 2,142 were adults and 454 were minors.
If this was taking place anywhere else in the Middle East the US/UK/EU criminals would be sending in their ‘Freedom Bombs’.

Yeah Assad and his military are saints. Never hurt an innocent civilian. Don,t get me wrong I want him to remain in power. I think he is doing an exemplary job and without him the country will fall into chaos. See Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan etc. 3rd world countries need strong dictators to maintain a semblance of order. But you are either naive or stupid to go through life thinking they are saints. More like a necessary evil.
