The first breakthrough of my landscape painting: painting with pallet knife. Almost entire painting and entire process were done with pallet knife. The great part of using pallet knife is it forced me to ignore unimportant details, thus I could focus on totally atmosphere.
stunning! really excellent shading! I've just started using the palate knife more...its a great tool, though I'm still getting the hang of it! just posted a painting that used the knife heavily, would love your opinion if you have time.
