We had a successful rock painting art day at the library a couple weeks back despite the construction chaos. I would like to eventually have a project like the one shown. I have enough budget leftovers for the fiscal year to splurge on canvases, I think.

Maybe I should suggest that to our head librarian. The whole painted rock thing has fizzled out in our area, and I bet a rock painting class/project would help bring it back.
Hopefully you can get it going in your library! I think painting classes are so fun. Its nice to get away and relax and just learn to paint. :)
