Rookie mistake: trying to see and build the big picture in one go. Does not work, not for anything. You will try and fail.
In painting, you will have to start with dabs and marks, practice them, and then build the picture.
In music, you will have to master that one finger movement.
In programming, work with snippets and weld them into a logical whole.
In writing, master words before attempting to express big thoughts.
