I've tested this many times and encouraged others, with similar result. If you're in pain, but find music that resonates with you, you may be able to distract yourself from the pain, by listening to the music.

Excellent post and I can already say that I know from experience that it works. Human beings are very susceptible to sound vibrations. Thank you for sharing this and I hope many try it and respond :)
