In just a few short years the the population of this world will reach 8 billion people. Within one hundred years that number will double. Of course there are many, many issues to address with that many people in the world.
But there's one aspect of this doesn't quite add up...

There will probably be a war or disease to knock things down again.
All that could be avoided with ethical depopulation.
It's very hard to find people concerned with overpopulation. We have been conditioned to believe that it's good to live in massive cities, and anyone out in the country is said to be from the "sticks". Have you ever noticed how city kids have no idea what nature is? The see a forest, they get bored. They just want to go to the mall, play sports, and go partying. People don't realize how it's destroying the economy by making basic resources such as food, housing, and transportation affordable. People say corporations are ripping us off, but the truth is supply can't keep up with supply. The world is running out of fish. So you have to pay $30 for a salmon, or $50 just to get a nice piece of crab. Inflation is directly tied to overpopulation, yet people someone thing we should add more skyscrapers, and it doesn't matter if we have 2 hours commutes to work.
If you want to go down the rabbit hole, I authored a post under the Alias "Robert Greene" on this forum. You can read the long debate I had with several members. I'm come up with the idea of "Ethical Depopulation". It's an alternative to the Agenda 21 conspiracy theories. I plan on writing a book, so I want to feature debates on this topic, but I got to get the right people interested. Most people freak out when they hear "overpopulation". They assume you're some kind of crazy person, wanting to kill everyone.
