I still have the first knife I carried as a kid back in the 80s, probably when I was 10. That's right, a kid! I carried that tool everywhere, and I knew and respected it as a tool. I carried it in my school bag, to and from school, and never got in trouble for it.
Now I am a grown ass man, and this old toy of a knife sits in a box, and I graduated to every day carry of Benchmade or Case blades. I have a 10 year old who is lucky to have a dad who knows the importance of good quality tools, and appreciates the desire for a boy, or a man to carry one.
If you read my post about his consequence for pantsing a kid, can you imagine the consequence for being caught carry a knife? Good grief! He would probably end up on America's Most Wanted!
Your knife is a nice one for it's money, and it led you to a very nice post! I enjoyed reading it.
