Meet Bob, a 45-year-old Computer Science graduate. Bob worked for BobMarley Inc. a small tech company in Brazil as a lead developer after graduation. Bob loves programming and he spends hours in his cubicle typing code with his favorite cup of java next to his Mac all the time. Bob decided 3 years ago that he is done working for someone else, he can have more time off and potentially more money if he became self-employed.

He immediately wrote his resignation letter and served his three month notice period. Bob took a small loan and all his service and bought himself the best equipment his money could buy. He set up an office in his basement and told his friends and family that he is now an entrepreneur and he is giving a 20% commission for each paying client that they refer. Within two months, Bob was making 5 times more money than he was making at BobMarley Inc. He was now his own boss, making his own rules and working on his terms.

Bob was now living a life of his dreams, he could take time off whenever he felt like and if he decided to work from his bed, no one could tell him not too. If he decided to wear pajamas to work, it was his call to make. Four months down the line, Bob started experiencing real challenges. The referals from friends became less and less and his business was no longer growing. He started experiencing serious cash shortages and he was tempted to look for a job again.

The thought of begging his former boss for his job again made him sick to the stomach. He became determined to find a place where he could get a constant supply of clients and build his reputation. Such platforms were hardly ever available at that time. He joined freelance websites like breelancer.jungle and zupwork.free .It was hard for him to get anywhere on those platforms. The fees they were charging him were astronomical, he needed to pay money to promote his bids, it was so hard for him to find any clients and to build his portfolio and reputation.

One day Bob came across DIARÍSSIMA where he could register his profile and offer his services for free. Unfortunately Diarissima was limited and could not cater for Bob because it offered only one profession, household work. The great news is that Diarissima is evolving and they are becoming Crafty. Crafty is not limited to one profession, it offers hundreds of services and Bob can now become part of the ecosystem.

WHAT IS CRAFTY?

Crafty is the planned evolution of Diaríssima (our MVP), a fully operational platform, already two years on road and changing peoples lives in Brazil. Crafty is a free platform for providing and hiring autonomous professionals services of all specialties.

With Crafty, Bob will not only be using the platform for free, but he will earn free CFTY tokens which are the basis of the ecosystem. When a contractor evaluates Bob's work, Bob gets to receive some free tokens and the contractor will receive tokens when Bob evaluates them. Bob is happy and the contractor is happier. As Bob continues to use Crafty, his reputation increases and he gets more and more contractors hiring him. The result, Bob get's more money and his business grows.

How it Works

1. A contractor who wants to have a logo designed for him opens the app.
   2.He searches for professionals offering the service and sees Bob's profile and his portfolio and falls in love with the work done by Bob.
2. He offers Bob the contract and Bob gets to work without having to pay anything.
3. Bob delivers his finished project and gets paid
4. Contractor writes a short review about Bob and Bob receives free CFTY tokens which he can accumulate and use to buy goods / services on the Crafty marketplace
5. Bob evaluates the contractor who also receives some free CFTY tokens

Transparent

Because Crafty is blockchain based, all the activities are recorded and they are immutable. This means no outside source will be able to alter the records. Reputation will be a true reflection of Bob's reliability and competence. Reputation will not be manipulated and skewed since the service is free, no one will have an advantage because they have more money. Users will be rated purely by their ability to do a great job. Crafty will make use of the crafty AI to fight manipulation by large companies and will make suggestions to the searcher that are non-intrusive and are based on reputation of the professional

Taking the experience gained from the Diarissima project, Crafty promises to change the lives of self employed individuals - giving them a potential to earn much more than they are currently earning because they cut out the middlemen and there are fees charged for using the platform. The result is more money in the pockets of the service provider.
