Remember back in the day when we first EARNED a slider? It was like, er muh ger! I've arrived! Now it's like a participation trophy just for having an account. How much of your 0.00 vote would you care to give? I'm like, ALL OF IT!!!
Speaking of power, thanks very much for the dele you gave me when I first came back from the dead. It's shameful how long it's taken me to get back into the blockchain. Eh la la. I'm ready to get back to werk now.
I'm about to transfer some of the wealth that I stuck on ice when I exited Steem with my old account(s) and put it into Hive (thinking long-term) so if you'd like the thing back, please push the buttons to bring it on home.
At one point, some particularly geeky Hive person told me something absurd about how the amount of the dele they handed me was just a teensy bit and not to be taken seriously. I don't see it that way. Whenever I am put in charge of a piece of someone else's power, no matter how great or how tiny. for me, it feels like I must be doing SOMETHING right. I appreciate the inferred nod of approval carrying the thing represents (considering my poor reputation for being a bit of am unapologetic shit-disturber) and try to put it to the best use for everyone involved. Street cred and like that.
