January, 2017 First Update Note

 Today we would like to share more details about our updates. The majority of updated features enhanced the backend side of our service, so you will not see them. However, you will experience them with higher responsiveness of the site. We have also added more companies to our catalog. Following is a brief rundown of updated features.

SIC Categories

From now on you will have access to SIC categories. This means that you can filter companies within a specific industry. Currently, our site supports only US SIC codes. Over time we will add more countries and SIC categories. Stay tuned to our update logs and don’t miss this moment.

Yelp Parser

There is an established Yelp database, and we have created a Yelp parser to offer you even more relevant results. Thanks to our team of developers, this parser works smoothly. Yelp contains large amounts of information about companies, and you can now access Yelp directly from our site.

“Edit” Your Requests and Offers

In response to your feedback, we have added an “Edit” function for requests and offers. You should be able to enjoy easier interactions within our site from this moment forward. 

Refactoring of Catalog and Migration to React

We learned that our older catalog presented many performance and usability issues, so we decided to make it smoother and easier to use. By refactoring the code, we have managed to increase performance by 30%. Another useful feature is migration to React. It allows us access to new opportunities for the development of our product.

New Chat Feature

Communication and usability both matter a lot. To enhance communications with partners and customers, we have added a new chat feature. It will provide you with an additional way to negotiate issues with your customers. Customers will have the opportunity to discuss details regarding agreements signed with our smart contract.

New Database with 17 Million US Companies

In addition to the Yelp database, we have added a large database with over 17 million US companies. Now you can easily find a company or industry in a few clicks. We hope you enjoy this new feature. As always, we respond to your wishes and suggestions, and proceed with improvements to the product to meet your needs and preferences.
