The World Cup begins tomorrow... or maybe later today depending on your time zone. Fourteen hours from now. 
I hope to watch as many matches as time allow. I hope to discover an abundance of content for posting.
My four sons all played ‘soccer’. They were all gifted as players, but the sport has given much more to us than I can describe.
Through this extensive career of studying the players, coaches, and tactics I have formed personal opinions. These are of little value but filter what I observe.
What do you expect to see? Who will progress? How will each match be played?

In sports, everyone has a bad performance from time to time. You can’t win them all.
The real winners of the World Cup will be those participants who realize the honor they have to play, coach, or watch the action. Such memories can be life changing.

Time is a driving force for everything. I planned to watch most of the games but guess what! I am missing the first match for this World Cup and I am bored.
