Hello Everyone,
Firstly I am not a financial advisor, this is just my opinion and should not be taken as financial advice.
Since the launch of Steem Engine we have seen the launch not only of a lot of new tokens, but also of new frontends.
The launch of Dtube 0.9 and PALnet were just the beginning and have opened the door for others to realise the potential for niece communities here on Steem.
Of coarse you all already know this .
But with all of this going on and bitcoin rallying. We still have not seen a rally of the Steem price.
This got me to thinking about what’s going in steem and it’s possible effects on the price.
Ok so firstly to create a token it cost money from what I understand. Also the development of the new front ends and associated cost also cost money .
This would have meant some may have powered down to help fund and possibly event sold Steem for fiat to make payments.
Once these tokens and associated sites launched we also had people buying tokens . The possibility for more powering down.
I don’t see this as a bad thing, because these sites are helping grow communities within the Steem blockchain.
But I do feel it may have had a temporary negative effect on the price of Steem whilst all of this building and developing has been going on.
So look forward for all this hard work to pay off . Don’t be disheartened by the current price.
Thanks for reading,
Have an awesome day!
You should have done some research about this topic before posting. The cost of setting up the token is in ENG, which uses Steem to purchase, keeping all of the costs of setting up and running the tokens and tribes within the Steem ecosystem. None of the cost is going to outside sources. It is all going through Steem Engine.
Yes this is true . Perhaps I have not done enough research on this . But palnet, battlegames and steemleo all have their own websites and I’m sure there is a lot of other costs they would have had setting these sites up. Dtube went as far as to launch their own blockchain.
As I said this is just my opinion.
Thanks for stopping by @derangedinvestor .
Have an awesome day!
