Not only do I suffer from depression and anxiety, but I also know the pain of loosing someone to suicide. And I always try to share the message that there are people out there to help anyone in this situation. And I try to be that person in my community.

I just absolutely love it and that is so very true. I know a lot of people out there just think that no one cares and that no one is there to listen, either because they are too busy or they just think that it isn't important enough to communicate. But they just don't realize that communication is the first step in helping the good waves return. We are the solution. We can stretch out a hand and let people know that we are there for them no matter what. Even if I have problems going on, I'm still here for anyone. I've actually thought about starting a discussion night for my friends and family around my home town to help with this problem. Just somewhere they can go to talk and get those heavy weights off their shoulders. But people are still afraid to speak about it, especially in a group setting. I find that talking with like minded people helps me to find the answers I need to further my healing process and in making myself a better person as well. Thank you for sharing this.
