You know i have also been having this thoughts in my head for a while now. If openmic is widely making a huge impact in the steemit community, then why would it not be given all the supports needed to fly. It is best contest platform on steemit cos it rewards all entries. It is also an encouraging platform for steemit musicians. It's the main entertainment part or body of steemit community so i think while others get high rewards for sharing maybe news contents.. Then the entertainment body should not be left out... It was one of the thing that drew me to steemit. And of cause I'll always stick to the openmic and always support it.
