I have great respect for people who spend the time to create amazing comments and engage with their readership. Steemit is such an amazing place to just have a conversion in the comment section. That was one of the many lures I found myself having as well. I was never into Facebook or Twitter or any of that. As you said they just seemed to be hiding behind a mask. It is great to see when someone becomes as busy as you are here that you still make the time for engagement.

With Steemfest being such a social opportunity to not only network but meet amazing people out there in the community as well. It only makes sense the person going should feel comfortable, know many of the people already at least from an online standpoint, and just want to engage with those around them.

Steemit should always be about community and it is great to see someone who has a passion for Openmic and elsewhere spread it around to those who are still trying to find their voice. I wish you the best of luck in this endeavor and may community get you there.
