Steemit Open Mic Week 68 - Drifting (Fingerstyle Guitar)

Here’s my entry video for steemit Open Mic Week 68 :)

This awesome tune composed by Andy McKee has inspired me to take up fingerstyle Guitar. It took me about a year to master this tune :) Sorry for the minor mistakes towards the end of the video :)

I have learned many techniques and skills from this particular tune along the way. Fingerstyle techniques such as tapping, percussion, slap harmonics etc.

Playing the guitar is easy, but to become a guitar master, it involves effort, time, persistence and a little bit of talent :) The most important thing in Guitar playing is ‘DO NOT GIVE UP’. Although it might seem to be impossible at first, practice consistently and start with small goals. This will be a good start for beginners and amateurs :)

Here’s a quote from Bo Bennett,

‘A dream becomes a goal when action is taken toward its achievement’
If you dream to become a professional guitarist, work on it :) Hardwork pays off eventually :)
