As a piano player, it is one the greatest parts of a performance to watch the play across the board. It adds to the experience and, only in my opinion, doubles the appreciation of the piece. If my face doesn't have to be in it then how can you confirm that it is me playing live? My right hand visibly hits the keys in the right time and place according to the audio. Anyway it doesn't matter, I wouldn't win a prize anyway so it won't make a difference. It just seems a shame, I put effort into that.

Is that a rule?
It is a rule to know it is you actually playing the song live. Your face does not have to be in it but we need to verify it is you playing live.

The way this video looks it could just be a recording of a song over a video of a piano. No way to know for sure if you are playing the song.
It will still be upvoted and included in this week's contest but not be qualified for prizes.
