We all know, how much frustration it is when we buy nice dress online, but it does not fit us when we receive it. This disadvantage has let traditional retail still rule the fashion industry. Well, one startup might change the game in future.
The Hong Kong base startup Metail , which is led by a person name Tal is looking to disrupt this industry. The company raise $16.1 million at 2004 and officially started at 2008. The idea is to use an app to find your right cloth base on your size and weight, so that you dont need to worry about the perfection of your dress. This would specially help people who are looking for plus size dress ,as they face most problem while looking for their dress.
Metail already have 80,000 design digitalized using photography and 3d scanning method, and capable to add 200 new design every day. Even though Metail are now availed only in Asia, due to a high growth region of middle class, but they aim to start their service in other country like USA and UK in future.
