not according to hivebuzz. You rank 24 for curation, even haejin ranks higher than you. But you didn't answer me. Will you upvote my book?

I have two accounts this is only 1/3 of my voting power. I am also not the top stake holder.
No I wouldn’t upvote your book. Should be obvious after the farming and threats.
Your buddy sent threats.
I am not influenced or harmed by threats or trolling.
It's pretty well known, true - but just as well known: when the community got sick of all the bid bots, and revolted against them, marky didn't put up a big fight. He certainly had enough stake to do so, and obviously didn't think it was wrong on a personal level since he was doing it. He heard the feedback and changed. Sure, after he made some pretty pennies (he also bought a large stake, nobody pays for a bidbot with no upvote value), but it's not easy to listen to a chorus of people saying "what you're doing is wrong and we're going to start downvoting you're every move if you don't stop" and respond with "ok. sorry. I don't want to be a negative force in the community". Takes some guts and courage
Vote trading schemes were also called out by much of the community. It's why other curation trails don't work that way. If people want to put idle stake to use, they can follow any number of curation trails. Curators like OCD and Curangel put a lot of effort into combing through Hive. They have community curators searching for things to recommend and cross-checking each other. Anybody doing a "join our group and get upvotes" style system is going to get downvoted. A massive majority of Hive users decided we didn't like how things were going when that was going on. It just isn't a winnable fight to tell us all we're wrong and that it should be profitable. The downvotes are going to win
It isn't really two large communities that need to come together. It's one person doing some false advertising about what's considered acceptable by the vast majority of users on Hive, not being able to meet the expectations they're setting in their advertising, and setting people up for a bad time when they find out the truth
Then maybe it is quite easy - there isn't a group of users expecting to make money from posting memes to Hive? I thought that was the grumpiness. Someone wanted to make money from Hive by joining this group that would auto vote you from other accounts within the group. If users aren't expecting that, then maybe I don't understand what people are even upset about
