A few days after the presentation of the new OnePlus 7 and 7 Pro, the faithful owners of the OnePlus 3 and 3 T models come up with a nice surprise, which is the arrival of the official Android update 9 Pie OxygenOS 9.0.2.

The software evolution of these two smartphones is one of the longest-lived as far as the official channel is concerned, since June 2016, the date of their launch on the market, they have moved from Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow to the current release, with a series of updates that have gradually implemented and perfected many functions, highlighting the importance of support for customers who believe.

The update will soon also be available via OTA for Italian devices, but the files for a manual update are already circulating in the different communities, below the official change log:

system upgrade to Android 9 Pie with new UI
April 2019 security patch
new non-disturbing mode with adjustable settings
new Gaming Mode 3.0 with changes for notifications
support for Google Lens
Google Duo integration in the dialer
camera enhancements
bugfixes and general improvements

OnePlus is a solid business. All their phones are pretty good and as it seems, they don't dump older versions on the limbo just because they don't sell them any more.

Thumbs up to the OnePlus peeps.
