Hello friends,
Today I am posting a watercolor illustration I have done for the weekly magazine, "TARANGA" which is published in KANNADA language in the state of Karnataka, India
This is one is unique as the story about a village-legend of Nangeli who an Ezhava woman lived in the early 19th century at Cherthala in the state of Kerala in India. She supposedly, cut off her breasts in an effort to protest against a caste-based "breast tax" and oppression.
I used Camlin Photo Colours on 120 gsm Cartridge Paper.
Final finishing is done using Artline Pen.
