Someone asked me about tokens the other day. I laughed and sent them the name of another person who understands how tokens work because I do not.

I have tokens on Hive Engine, but I never look there or even think of looking there. What I do have is some very wonderful friends and family who check my Hive Engine page once in a while and tell me that they think it would be a good idea if I do "This".

I ask them a few questions about why "this" is what I should be doing. I listen until I get a headache, and then, depending on how I feel about what I have heard, I either buy/move/sell/do nothing to the tokens as suggested.

What I did do on Hive was meet people I now call family. One such person is @Enginewitty. When Enginewitty made a token called #PIMP, I looked in my Hive wallet and bought as much as I could. I wanted to support my little brother.

Enginewitty has done outstanding with his PIMP token!

Each Wednesday, there is a meeting at some God-awful time of the morning. If I am still awake, I will enter a meeting. In the PIMP meetings, people can come in and pitch a project to the group. The projects can range from backing my new crypto game to having a raffle to raise money for a new onboarding project.

Now I might not know about tokens, but I do know Bullshit when I hear it. I will question Bullshit. Lucky for some Bullshitters, I do not make a lot of meetings.

One such meeting I did make @bitcoinman was there. He was telling everyone about a raffle he was having to help the Hive Onboarding Committee. I didn't overthink it and took myself off to sleep for the day.

A few? weeks later, I made it to the tail end of another meeting.

Bitcoinman was in the PIMP meeting again. He was talking about the raffle once again, too. More people needed to buy tickets. If he hadn't sold X ticket amounts, he would not have covered the cost of the silver piece he was raffling off. Those words I heard.

I do not mind helping someone trying to help a cause they believe in, which should not result in losing money. Lucky for everyone, I had just written a few posts and had not powered the payout yet. Life has been a tad hectic for me just now. I sent Bitcoinman all of the Hive I had. I ended up with some raffle tickets.

What I was hoping for was that more people would see how many tickets I had and want to buy more than me. Unfortunately, things did not work that way, but at least no one was losing money.

The day of the raffle came, and GINA (May she rest in peace) sent me a notice that I had been tagged in a post called Bee raffle winner Announced!. Flipping to the page, I read it and saw I had won the silver round!

I was told it would ship out in a few days.

Yesterday, I received a tiny package with a beautiful, heavy piece of silver inside! It is the first piece of silver I own, and it makes me smile looking at it!

Thank you, Bitcoinman, for running the raffle! I LOVE the silver bee piece and will never forget where it came from.

It has now joined Santa on my computer. Everyone always needs things to make you smile.
