Hello everyone!

This is a compilation post that will serve as a summary and status of the onboarding program. For those who are late to the party, OCD's onboarding program aims to bring more users to Hive and retain those users through the curation of posts submitted by the onboarders.

Anyone who's active in Hive is invited to apply as an OCD onboarder. Please see the details of the application process at the end of this post.

Hello everyone! I am Apple Jane, 18 years old. I am new to this hive and a psychology student in CRMC. I have been a good steward in our community and also in my family. I am the youngest, which means I am the last card in my family. Even though I am not so good at academics, I am humbly doing my best to strive for what my capacity is. There is so much sunshine in my surroundings and can hinder my deepest hardships in life. It's not about having good circumstances in life but also the hardships that you must encounter. I like the color red; it symbolizes the blood, sweat, and tears that I have been giving all the time in my life. I also like my family, no matter what. With the Lord so good that He makes my family have good health, bodies, and souls. Love everyone as you love God. And I will enjoy these new things in life, like joining Hive, and will forever cherish every bit of this blog. Just live your life to the fullest in order to achieve your ones being perceptions in life. Be humble enough and do good things possible.

Hello, My name is Maria Fernanda, I am 33 years old, I am Venezuelan born in Margarita Island. My life is based on passion and the desire to grow both personally and professionally every day. Since I was a little girl I have always loved beauty. For some years I have been experimenting with nail polish and manicure. This passion not only led me to become a manicurist but also allowed me to explore my creativity and develop the talents that have shaped who I am today.

I came to this corner of the internet thanks to @arlettemsalase (a specialist in the subject, if you ask me) who took me by the hand down the rabbit hole or, rather, down the beehive. At the moment I'm taking classes with @soy-laloreto to become a professional at this (or at least a decent content creator) so wish me luck and see you soon.

I do not like to be doing nothing, I came to practice dance for 9 years, I started dancing since I was 5 years old, thanks to several presentations I did in preschool my parents realized how much I liked and enrolled me in my first classes, I started dancing Arabic dance and several years later I was advancing and began to dance other types of dance. At the time of puberty I had abandoned it because there were too many changes in my life JSKAJSKAJ, at that time I became a little embarrassed and more introverted. I took up dancing again 3 years later, and at that point I was a robot to dance, I didn't even know how to move an arm, plus it was a new group and I was practically starting from scratch. My teacher was very strict and always put a lot of pressure on me when I was doing a choreography, she told me that she was never going to give up on me and thanks to that and all the nice people who supported me my presentations were a success and motivated me a lot, all those tears and sweat were not in vain, it helped me to become more confident and leave stage fright behind.

Hi, I am Katherine, a dreamer who has never rested to achieve what I want, who has changed her dreams every time destiny shows her another direction, although one always thinks that the only way is the option "A", with the changes that life gives you, adulthood and experience, you are discovering that there is a whole alphabet available for you and your goals, that sometimes the dreams change depending on everything that you have been forced to live and what you are discovering yourself.

Hello everyone, my name is Jacqueline, I am Venezuelan, from the state of Nueva Esparta and the beautiful island of Margarita, the pearl of the Caribbean, although I am from an island, I do not like the sun, and very little the beach, but if I go with my family if I enjoy it. I am a cheerful, hardworking, jovial woman, I am a tax administrator and almost a surgeon, I studied at the Universidad de Oriente (UDO), a career that due to the high costs I can not continue, but it is still my passion,health. Currently I work in an American company of architecture and construction. I love to drink a good freshly brewed coffee in the morning, and if it comes from the warm hands of my beloved old lady even better. I love to live in freedom, to be able to indulge myself and enjoy the pleasures of life in a healthy way.

Living here taught me to value the beauty of nature. However, 6 years ago, due to the economic crisis and in search of a better future, I emigrated to Colombia, specifically to the city of Cali, (The branch of heaven or also the salsa capital of the world) which has welcomed me as one of them and makes me feel at home. At first it was a little difficult to adapt, especially because I was alone with my family far away, and then I managed to bring my wife which was a great support and relief for me, with my wife with whom we have a relationship of almost 9 years I have 2 beautiful children, Carlos Eduardo 6 years old and Maria Gabriela 1 year old who are my motivation every day to move forward and I love deeply.

A poem…ahhh that’s what it was, I told myself on my way home. Ever since I got to know what it’s called, I have been fascinated by how words, when it’s written, make someone feel something. I started imitating how the format of the poem was written; it was two paragraphs with four lines each (I learned it’s called a quatrain poem in high school). I just randomly wrote anything I could think of, like a rag, a door, a plate, a sofa, or anything I could see inside our house. But none of them made me feel something. Then, I saw my puppy, cotton, and she makes me feel happy whenever she licks my hand. That was an aha moment for me because I wrote a poem about her, and finally, it made me feel something. That’s when I started using words to tell a story, a story of feelings.

Please take note that the stats do not reflect the current state of each onboarders as of this time because we are still catching up with this compilation post. The stats will be updated in each compilation post until it becomes up to date with the onboarding initiative.

OCD's onboarding program is conceptualized to be a powerful mechanism in attracting and retaining new content creators. Since incentives are given to active onboarders, it could be a nice income generation for those who wanted to focus more in inviting new users to Hive. Once you've applied, there will be a vetting process. We will check your on-chain activity to make sure that you can be trusted. Once you're in, you have the capacity to make an invite link using OCD's account creation token, invite anyone you think is a good addition to Hive with a quick and no SMS required account creation, nominate the posts of your invites through a special channel for curation, and get beneficiary rewards both from the users you've invited, posts like these and more benefits in the future!

Be warned that you are responsible for your invites. Meaning, their activity reflects on how you mentor them. Any suspicious activity of your invite can be a ground for your expulsion in the program. Make sure that before they start posting in Hive, you already oriented them on the activities to avoid such as plagiarism.
