Hello everyone!

This is a compilation post that will serve as a summary and status of the onboarding program. For those who are late to the party, OCD's onboarding program aims to bring more users to Hive and retain those users through the curation of posts submitted by the onboarders.

Anyone who's active in Hive is invited to apply as an OCD onboarder. Please see the details of the application process at the end of this post.

Who am I? I've been staring at the screen for a long time, asking myself that question, trying to discern and write something interesting to read. However, dear reader, doesn't this seem like a complicated question to you? One of the hardest to answer, like when on your first day of college the professor asks you, in front of everyone, the reason why you chose that major, an answer that no matter how hard you try to answer, the shame will be unavoidable. The truth is that we are not one thing; we are the sum of many parts. We are the amalgam of our emotions, passions, lights, and shadows—a mixture of good and bad. We are also a reflection of the people and places we have loved and hated.

I could get lost for hours in all that green without any fear. In our lands, we grew everything: tomatoes, papayas, peppers, cucumbers, eggplants, and lots of corn, but above all, there was my greatest enemy... tobacco. Yes! My family has been mainly involved in tobacco farming for generations. Since I was young, the cultivation of tobacco seemed appalling to me, as there seemed to be no greater use for it other than manufacturing cigarettes and cigars. I always wondered... how many people are we harming with just one harvest? But despite never agreeing with this practice, I couldn't change anything.

I was born on October 7, 1995 in the province of negros occidental. I'm a person who loves sports, cooking , mobile and pc games, animals, and music. I am interested in any kinds of sports like volleyball, basketball, badminton, chess, arnis, and many more. When I'm in my high school days, I played basketball and arnis at the same time. I played in various tournaments and leagues and even won medals.

My name is Luiz Fernando Sousa, but I prefer to be called Fernando or even by the surname Sousa. I had my first brief contact with the Hive network in 2022 due to Splinterlands. Only now am I getting to know and engaging with this blockchain, and I can say that I am simply in love with the proposal.

It is a great honor to be part of a project with the potential to change an era on the internet. So, without further ado, this is my story, a presentation about me, my ideals, values, and purpose. I find it useful to mention that I have never done this publicly on the internet before, so any tips or advice to improve my future posts are highly appreciated.

Hi I am Maritoni a.k.a Miss OA :) I came from the beautiful island of Eastern Visayas, Samar and Leyte. Growing up on these gorgeous places I remember how raw my life was . The stories about the simplicity of life there speaks about how calm and clean it is to live there.

From the clean air that you can breathe straight from the rice field or from the beach, the delicacies my mother cooks when there is a fiesta , the tan skin that I got because of too much reconnecting with nature may it be a mountain climbing trip with my cousins or swimming at the beach as we eat the coconut meat or what we call “buko” my classmate got out of the tall coconut tree that was totally objected by my nanay because she was worried that something might happened.

I came here to Hive through @hivezulia since I found their telegram channel and it caught my attention there I have read and heard a lot about Hive and its benefits and web 3, so as curious as I am I began to inquire even more about the blockchain and hive where I found myself in the feed with a post called Hive from scratch and it caught my attention and I entered to read it And I realized that there I would learn everything about this new world for me, I entered the link which took me to a channel of Telegram where the friend @soy-laloreto has shown us since April 1st the way of this wonderful world, which has fascinated me so I am here today to discover more about it and experiment since I am passionate about discovering new things.

Hello, ladies and gentlemen out there! Allow me to introduce myself to this community. I am Caren Bansag, a new member of the Hives community. I currently reside in the City of Naga, specifically in Lanas City of Naga, Cebu. I have been living in this world for 17 years and will turn to be of legal age in this coming November. I am the one and only child in my family, but before that, my mother adopted a child because they had a child for a long time. After a few years, I was born, and I'm so grateful for that. But until now, I'm still hoping to have a lot of siblings.

Please take note that the stats do not reflect the current state of each onboarders as of this time because we are still catching up with this compilation post. The stats will be updated in each compilation post until it becomes up to date with the onboarding initiative.

OCD's onboarding program is conceptualized to be a powerful mechanism in attracting and retaining new content creators. Since incentives are given to active onboarders, it could be a nice income generation for those who wanted to focus more in inviting new users to Hive. Once you've applied, there will be a vetting process. We will check your on-chain activity to make sure that you can be trusted. Once you're in, you have the capacity to make an invite link using OCD's account creation token, invite anyone you think is a good addition to Hive with a quick and no SMS required account creation, nominate the posts of your invites through a special channel for curation, and get beneficiary rewards both from the users you've invited, posts like these and more benefits in the future!

Be warned that you are responsible for your invites. Meaning, their activity reflects on how you mentor them. Any suspicious activity of your invite can be a ground for your expulsion in the program. Make sure that before they start posting in Hive, you already oriented them on the activities to avoid such as plagiarism.
