I have been trying to get folks at my shop to give it a go. For some folks, I have created the accounts for them but sometimes they take it into their own hands and go through steemit.com. I had a customer and a cosplayer I met at a show recently join and it took almost 2 weeks to get approved. So far, neither of them have done anything as the allure seems to have faded. That is a major issue. The fact that if someone does want to sign up, they have to wait weeks. We will not grow and prosper if this is what is the norm.

You have enough RCs to claim account tokens at a rate of 5/6/7 a week - are you claiming?
That's the easy part though - still waiting for the easy creation part.
Correct. Way too long. People have short attention spans and it’s onto the next thing that sounds interesting.
I am claiming. Got a small bank of I think 61 claimed as of this moment and I’ve used about 25 thus far for creating for people so far.
Sometimes folks take it upon themselves to just go ahead and do it as in the case I mentioned earlier. 2 friggin weeks. That’s embarrassingly awful.
