Owners of ETH and SNGLS can get OmiseGo FREE

Soon, ETH and SNGLS patrons, original cryptoactive Ethereum and SingularDTV, have a portion of OmiseGo tokens free, according to their white paper and with recently updated information.

According to the update on 7 August, users with more than 0.1 ETH in their portfolios will be able to benefit from part of the 5% of the total number of tokens issued by OmiseGo, intended to be distributed in this way, known as an 'airdrop'. This initiative was joined by the emerging SingularDTV, which announced that once the airdrop of OmiseGo has been successfully completed, it will also distribute the corresponding OMG tokens - which they themselves own more than 300 thousand ETH - to SNGLS patrons, their official token . In total, an estimated 450 thousand addresses will receive GMOs.

The event was scheduled for last Monday, September 4; however, the date was postponed until further notice. The OmiseGo team ensured that it continued to evaluate the results of the ICO to provide its users with the best service and to release tokens in the next.

OmiseGo is a decentralized exchange platform that allows Ethereum users to exchange their cryptones for fiat currency or other crypto-assets and make payments in real time based on Ethereum's technology to support transactions. The ICO of OmiseGo had a great reception by the investors, obtaining to collect about 25 million dollars, according to figures of the TokenData. With the advent of these figures, users were full of expectations for the airdrop that will earn them some tokens for free.

For its part, SingularDTV is an emerging platform that allows to protect, manage, monetize and trade artistic content in a decentralized way, using blockchain technology. According to its CEO, Zach LeBeau, the SingularDTV team is excited to participate in the OmiseGo initiative. To benefit from this, the CEO explains that users must have a portfolio that supports ERC20 like MEW (MyEtherWallet), Parity or Mist.

It is possible to mention that, probably due to the delay with the airdrop, the hackers were taking advantage of to make phishing, that is to say, they were passed by the administrators of the platform through a Twitter account that has already been suspended: @omisego_com ( instead of the original that is @Omise_Go). In this way, they released an announcement for users to share their private keys and steal their ETH. Previously, OmiseGo had warned about this kind of tricks, saying that users should not follow similar instructions.

OmiseGo's growth has been satisfying and unpredictable, even for its team. Among its expectations is an upcoming partnership with Google: on September 7, platform co-founder Donnie Harinsut posted a photo through his Twitter account, which shows some of the company's members with the Google team, and announced briefly that they are in negotiation to partner.

And while this alliance was not very well received by OmiseGo users, who argue that Google goes against the principles of decentralization promoted by OmiseGo and the whole blockchain, the co-founder says it's a good way to "decentralize" centralized ". For the moment, just wait.

Don't believe sites/links telling you to do something for $OMG airdrop or you will get scammed. There is nothing to do. Just wait. #OmiseGo
