Dutch woman ice skaters at the olympics

in #olympics7 years ago (edited)

I don't often watch sports.
But at some points when something interesting happens
I end up very proud. As a Dutch person myself I was amazed to see
how 3 ice skaters from my country managed to get bronze, gold, and silver all at once.

I found it equally amazing when the Dutch female soccer team won the European Cup.

After these games are over, and when you look at the interviews being conducted by them or any
proffessional athlete is often very inspiring.
These people have a true dedication to what they do, they train day in day out and with blood sweat and tears
persist and break their personal records. They have a true passion for what they do, and they always aim for gold.
I don't know how far they take this, but this is clearly a recipe for success and it makes these people great role models.
