Ok, I like to back up my work. You never know, a flood, fire, break-in or gulp infection of the machine and you can lose all your data!
A couple of years ago the best option for online storage was GoogleDrive. I was paying about $15 Canadian for one Terabyte of storage.
That was until last winter.
Microsoft is now offering Office 365 Home--for PC and get this Mac!!! (includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook<whoop!!, Publisher, Access) and the best part....1 Terabyte of OneDrive storage PER USER. Yep that beats GoogleDrive's pricing of $13.99 for 1 Terabyte and of course their free office suite.
Add to this that you have 5 licences so that means 5 family members get exactly what is posted above INCLUDING 1 terabyte each of OneDrive storage...hard to beat!
I'm not inferring Microsoft is BETTER than Google so much as saying that the majority of offices are using the Microsoft Suite and Universities-Colleges, so if you want to stay current with the market, $13.99 to Microsoft a month gives you the full office suite to practice with! That and with OneDrive sync tool (1 Terabyte of storage, remember?) you know your data is being backed up! Of course make sure to configure the OneDrive for your backups.
