My mountain hiking experience

in #ocd3 years ago

Coming to Nasarawa state from lagos seem so weird as it was my first time moving to the north.

I lived with a group of Christians when I arrived. There were stories of how unsafe the North was but getting there it was a different situation entirely from what was said about the North.

One day after our regular morning devotion, it was the day all new comers of the house were to go for hiking, and I was like what do they mean by hiking🤔(in my mind I was asking myself are we gonna use ropes like we see in movies or documentary).

We left the house at 7:30 and began our hiking journey to the mountain. I was saying to myself I'm going to show my skills from the ones I watched in movies😎 (Mission impossible 2).

We were all happy as we were jogging and singing till we got to a path were we had to climb slowly.
On getting to the path were we would all climb, it was hard and slopy that held each other as we climbed and if one isn't careful he/she could fall down or worst get a dislocation. Sorry guys my phone caught some virus that's why my personal pictures wasn't uploaded.

As I got to the top all sweaty I was able to capture the sunrise. It was a wonderful sight to behold and the cities around us was looking so tiny. It was something I have never seen before.

a shot at Sun rise

It was all fun I participated in aerobic join in joggling ball but was careful to avoid injury.
I don't know but the truth is I wasn't prepared for the hiking but sometimes unplanned outings could turn out to be a lot more fun than some planned outings and the fun fact of life.

Thanks guys for reading and visiting my blog
