The beauty of Pusong reservoir

The photo that you see in this post, is located in one of the natural tourist destinations located in one of the small cities namely Lhokseumawe City, Aceh.

As we all know, Pusong Reservoir attraction attraction, is one of the well-known destinations in Lhokseumawe City, precisely located in one of the fishing villages of Pusong Lama Village, Lhokseumawe Aceh. This neat reservoir is able to captivate tourists or travelers to spend the weekend and recreation with friends and their families in the afternoon and evening, but during the covid19 period temporarily closed by the local government for fear of increasing the spread of the corona virus.

You can see for yourself how quiet the location is due to the impact of the corona virus epidemic. However, the atmosphere is more beautiful especially if we are on the edge of the road adjacent to the river that extends from the direction of the estuary to the location of the water reservoir.

Basically this location does not intend to become a tourist destination, this reservoir is deliberately made as a reservoir of water to overcome flooding in the center of Lhokseumawe City, because the population is increasing day by day so that the impact when it rains puddles there are no suitable channels for disposal. However, as time passed, the reservoir was glimpsed by tourists and became a famous recreation spot to date in the city. This is bred by a collection of mangrove trees and lives of several animals such as storks, swamp species, reptile species, and several other animals that do not endanger humans.

Tourists and wildlife enthusiasts also enjoy the Pusong Lhokseumawe reservoir, because the cool atmosphere of the afternoon there are green trees that stand in line to add an enchanting atmosphere when you see it. In the evening tourists and travelers can enjoy the beautiful sunset or sunset in the horizon, as you saw in my previous post, the most special thing when you sit while enjoying typical Acehnese food like Mie Aceh Caluk which is sold in cafes- the reservoir side cafe at a very cheap and lively price.

While sitting on the banks of the river while eating food typical of local residents then you can see beautiful scenery such as the ocean which is on the side of the reservoir. Your can see thousands of seagulls, storks, and other birds looking for food and doing the action with the fishing community who are looking for fish in their wooden boats.

If you want fresh fish, you can also get it by fishing on the banks of the river with rocks that stand majestically on the banks of the reservoir. Or you can also buy it from traditional fishermen at a cheap price when new fishermen arrive from the sea.

Now the Pusong reservoir has been known by the public at large because at that location there is an amazing charm in the side of Aceh's natural tourist destinations.
