OCD DAILY - Issue #88

Welcome to the 88th issue of @OCD Daily!

Issue #88 highlights content from ten (10) fantastic Steemit Content Creators! The OCD team on its journey continues to search tirelessly throughout Steemit for undervalued gems as provided by relatively new users.

Today our curators, under our steadfast leader, @acidyo, have delivered ten incredible pieces of original content to share with you! These works as provided by newer Steemit users don’t have the audience which their quality content deserves. @OCD strives to provide that audience and intends to showcase Steemit users who put in tremendous effort to create flourishing content.

The nomination process

A curator will FIND a piece of work (typically from newer users), within 24 hours that piece has been submitted from the curator to the @ocd team, votes tallied and the pieces with the most votes are placed into the compilation.

We encourage you to visit these blogs and to show these great Steemians your support and encouragement.

If you enjoyed their work give them a Follow or maybe even say Hello!

All of the content as chosen by our curators is undervalued, but there is always one piece that rises to the top. That piece is seen as universally appreciated and valued making it OCD’s Top Nomination of the Day.

Today’s top nomination as curated by @guyfawkes4-20: @presentminded gives us a thoughtful blog on mindfulness, which really gets you thinking how you're thinking wrong - like a cow. That makes a lot more sense in context. In this blog you learn about where and when to focus your thoughts, and the negative effects it can have when you 'chew on your cud' for too long. To have a clue what I'm talking about and improve your way of life, read below!

Ruminating your energy away

Our second piece, discovered by @mk40, is a post by @stanimalsalesguy who insists, that his 3-step program is the key to success when it comes to proposing to your loved one (without the need for proof or anecdotal evidence!), winning over a customer or presumably getting promotions, discounts or whatever else you could imagine. It's as simple as 3, untried and untested steps! Discover success and marriage maybe below!

HOW TO GET A HUSBAND, WIFE, OR NEW CUSTOMER - IN 3 EASY STEPS!

Our third piece as curated by @mrslauren: @robyneggs is a very generous individual. This post gives us not one, not two, but 19 poems to explore! This collection is professionally presented and creatively written with a masterful hand in metaphor and layering. Take a seat by the fireside and enjoy the post below.

'The Silence of the Yellow Bear' > Collection of Poems

Our Fourth Piece as curated by @gmuxx: @deepapaulus gives us a cool video timelapse of her Warli painting. This is an Indian-style tribal art you should all be quite familiar with, and when combined with the traditional music of India, the video becomes a delightful watch, with fantastic results (Also, really digging the rugrats top). Go explore some culture below!

My Painting Timelapse

Our fifth piece, curated by @saywha is kind of a unique post by @ryoplasmic. This blog introduces us to a 2009 anime movie which, surprisingly, displays some technology remarkably accurate to our 2017 lives. Some are more predictable sci-fi features like augmented reality on their smartphones, but the anime even touches on a ledger-based blockchain-type technology for virtual currencies and more things that were not even thought about for most of us back then. 2009 was almost 9 years ago, you know! See if the movie is worth your time and virtual money below!

Our sixth piece, curated by @anomadsoul brings us some food intuition by @gikitiki. Critical thinking is a prized possession few of us really have. So when you have a big, thick, frozen steak for the BBQ and you know the traditional searing technique won't cut it, what are you gonna do? The answer lies in this post with reverse searing. I won't give away all the nuance, but in short, it needs a glass of wine and some chill. It looks amazing. See for yourself below.

Reverse Seared Steak on the BGE (Big Green Egg)

Our seventh piece as curated by @m31: @anise is a master of needlework! This may look like a regular doily at first but the ocean theme makes it extra cool; a ships wheel and cute little boats, it's wonderful! And take it fro me, not easy. I've tried needlework, it's a pain to get good. Show some support for this artist below!

Sailing On!

Our eighth piece as curated by @ma1neevent: @to-tru shows us the Chinese wall in Croatia. Well, uh, not quite. It's a small but nonetheless practical wall of defense in its time at 9 metres in height. But the wall is surrounded by a beautiful landscape, with bays and wildlife and beautiful sunsets. Go back in time for a while by clicking the link below.

Our ninth piece as curated by @jeanpi1908: @olivercuico starts off with a simple question, but quickly delves into great detail, treating us to some great insights on historical aircrafts and modern day developments. From bombers to sports planes, gliders and little personal helicopters that look almost pedal powered, it's quite a fascinating journey in time which you can enjoy now below!

What is an Aircraft?

Our tenth and final piece as curated by @suesa: @manah gives us a deep insight into the scientific process. There are a lot of doubters out there, but most people simply do not understand the rigorous scrutiny true science falls under. As stated by manah, there is a whole field of analytics dedicated to the theory of error, and the post delves into how we can be sure a methodology is correct, the types of errors, what we can do to reduce them and more. What a great system, truly! Read for yourself below.

Thanks for stopping by as this concludes today’s OCD Daily. We would like to congratulate the authors nominated as well as those featured.

Hopefully, you were able to take away something different, fresh, and new from the pieces as provided by the @ocd curators.

The OCD team would also like to thank those that strive to make a difference. As anyone can create a posting but only some can create/build value.

I'm glad folks got some chuckles out of this ridiculous analogy. Its ridiculous...and it works, particularly when you're starting anything new! Thanks again for the exposure! Follow meeeeee! :-)

I've started a weekly curated feature bulletin to help minnows I've found who are creating consistent quality work. I've promoted it as far as I can on my own but would appreciate a resteem, thanks. Keep up the good work.

I see some posts being resteemed by OCD as well, do we have to use ocd-resteem tag or is there any other criteria to get our post resteemed?
