OCD DAILY - Issue #36
Issue #36 highlights content from eight (9) marvellous yet underrated Steemit Content Creators! The OCD team on its journey continues to search tirelessly throughout Steemit for undervalued gems as provided by relatively new users.
Today our (20) curators, under our steadfast leader, @acidyo, have delivered nine wonderful pieces of original content to share with you! These works as provided by newer steemit users don’t have the audience in which their content deserves. @OCD strives to provide that audience and to showcase Steemit users that put in the effort to create quality content.
A curator will FIND a piece of work (typically from newer users), within 24 hours that piece has been submitted from the curator to the @ocd team, votes tallied and the pieces with the most votes are placed into the compilation.
We encourage you to visit these blogs and to show these great Steemians your support and encouragement.
All of the content as chosen by our curators is undervalued, but there is always one piece that rises to the top. That piece is seen as universally appreciated and valued making it OCD’s Top Nomination of the Day.
This is the nomination elected by most curators as the best one! I shouldn't even have to tell you about how @jznsamuel found it. Anyway, steemit is full of art posts, what makes @juliakponsford´s post so amazing is that with just a camera, some spare time in her holidays and a bit of creativity (and some edition) she came up with some of the most beautiful pictures we´ve seen so far. Her unique style and variety, all withing one single post is what makes it so good. If you want to be mesmerized, Click HERE at your own risk, you´ve been warned.
Our Second Piece as curated by @jacobchamplain: @petemaguire trully believes the insane people will rule the world. Forget about the X-men mutants or the earth being controlled by aliens. The Next Generatinos of rulers is already among us but it is not as simple as it may seem. There is a lot of paradigms waiting to be broken and some prejudice and bias that needs to be addresed if we want to reach this "limitless" state of being. Click HERE to read this very interesting approach at today´s society and the mindset of individuals as a whole.
We have all seen documentaries and tv shows about people who survives in some of the most harsh conditions but most of us are not prepared to survive them. But hey, @mk40 found a post by @sugeelson where this topic is translated to our normal life. We all experience terribly hot weather at some point of the year and in this article you will find some of the most useful tips and hacks to survive the scorching summer in your home town! Click HERE if you want to survive!
Who doesn´t want to be a bear and sleep through all winter? Cozy and warm inside your cave after months of over-eating preparing for this season. @elteamgordo endlessly searched for a diamond in the health tag and he found this post written by @yo117. But don´t be misleaded, this is not about the life of a bear, this post is about he health issues bears have to endure in order to hibernate all winter and how they deal with them. Click HERE to learn more about this interesting topic!
Preparing for a weekend off duties, @dorman wanted to select a true gem for you to read and guess what? He found @dimitrisp´s post. Not your avergae writer and definitely not your usual post. This author is actually writing a series of posts speaking about operating systems and this time he tells us about linux and its pros, cons and general guidelines. If you are a tech newbie you HAVE to read this; if you are not a hardcore tech geek well then, from all the articles featured today, this is the one that will teach you the most, so Click HERE and let´s all learn something new about computers ans operating systems.
The food tag is full of delicious posts and @ma1neevent likes to surf it, this time he found @heart-to-heart´s recipe gone wrong. We all have at least one awful experience when it comes to horrible-tasting-food but this story is too funny to be missed! Don´t let the title or the synopsis fool you, this step by step cooking has more than what meets the eye. Click HERE to read this sarcastic, full of irony and amazingly written post.
While doing his daily curation duties, @jeanpi1908 stumbled upon a master piece. Have you ever wondered how cool would it be to actually work as a MIB (For you newbies, MIB = Men In Black)? Well, @oendertuerk makes your dream come true and writes about how NASA is hiring for that "once in a millenia" job. But hey, not so fast, if you want more information you have to Click HERE. Good luck job hunting, cadet.
@Howtostartablog found our eight piece written by @melancholee: It does not matter how old, experienced or travelled you are, there is always a first time for everything. Exploring a new country this author tells us all about a lot of first time experiences in the USA; from a trip to Las Vegas to sniper shoting practice. Click HERE if you want to join her on this adventure of a lifetime!
Our ninth and Final Piece as curated by @Suesa: Some of us here on steemit are bots but most of us are humans and if you are human you have experienced what @progressivechef writes about. The mistery behind hiccups is unveiled on this article, Click HERE to read about some natural and some artificial remedies, and let´s see if they work!
Thanks for stopping by as this concludes today’s OCD Daily. We would like to congratulate the authors nominated as well as those featured.
Hopefully, you were able to take away something different, fresh, and new from the pieces as provided by the @ocd curators.
The OCD team would also like to thank those that strive to make a difference. As anyone can create a posting but only some can create/build value.
Be sure to check for tomorrow’s edition of OCD Daily!
Keep up the good work creating original content

Wow @ocd Thanks so much for the feature ;) I am happy that my lack of success is turning out to have another use after all- inspiration in the kitchen! That doesn't soothe the embarrassment of having to sit through that dinner though cringe I certainly won't be having any dinner parties any time soon ;) Just kidding, it was a humbling experience, and it was a fun post to write! Thank you @ma1neevent for swooping it up and placing it here! XOX
Congrats my dear! Will you believe it, we are both featured on this one! I'm so happy!
