Operation Curation & Decentralization is a turning two years old in a few weeks. A project this old - in Steem terms - needs to evolve or grow obsolete, the blockchain changes every day and to keep this project fresh and full of new ideas, @ocd brings in new curators depending on the Community's needs, the overall activity and the curator's committment to the project.

From curation in ten languages, a resteem program, normal english curation, a planktin growth focused project, a distribution bot and some other small activities, one of the common denominators to make all of this happen is the involvement of our curators.

Without curators, OCD wouldn't be even a shadow of what it is today, thanks to all the 6 generations of curators that have been part of OCD since the beginning. Thanks for all the hours and sweat invested in finding underrated gems from undervalued authors!

After a trial period, we officially have new curators. We invite you to meet them, give them a follow and to please do not direct message them with links to your posts... believe us, they are on the lookout and browse the whole chain in search for your post. As an author, just focus in creating high quality content and eventually, one of us will find you.

Hi everyone! I'm @LivingUKTaiwan some call me Living or LUT for short. I'm from UK currently living in Taiwan hence the rather boring username.

I've been on Steemit for nearly two years which probably makes me middle age in the Steemit world. Since coming onto Steemit, there's always something new and interesting happening everyday - projects, dApps, games, drama and gossip (we all love that!) you name it.

Nothing is more welcoming than when I come across an author who delivers quality content. In the past two years, I've been curating for the @Steemitworldmap and have seen a lot of great travellers come and go. Now with my new role as an @OCD curator hopefully I'll find even more quality authors writing about other topics.

I am Mr. Spacely and I am currently living in space, yeah!

I arrived on Steem blockchain in January 2018 and since then, I am trying my best to promote this blockchain to a wider public outside of crypto world. I am a seeker of truth and I cherrish freedom a lot. I hate fake things, hate it, as much as I can't stand fake people. I believe that it's our resposibility to be real but also to have positive thinking on future.

I am currently practicing American Football and trying to popularize this sport in my country, even tho' I am in space atm :)

After a year on Steem, I am now curating for @steemgc, @vimm and @ocd. 19 weeks ago, I started steemSTEM project where I am promoting our blockchain to 45k+ people on FB and helping steemstem with the insights. Also, working on another project that will be implemented IRL and hopefully bring my city closer to using blockchain tech.

My main goal here is to have enough SP to support these communities and people who are investing their time into this blockchain. Also, since I want to onboard people here, I want to have more SP to make them come here so I can help them grow in their beginings.

Never powered down and never cashed out because I am always going after long-term goals. Short term satisfaction is not enough for me as I like to see bigger picture and try to spread that mentality on others.

I’m old, significantly older than most people around here. The first Moon Landing was the same week as my 18th birthday. I not only remember life before computers, I remember life before Television…

I bought my first computer in 1980 (after working with a Wang Mini). A genuine PC that had practically no memory and no onboard storage. I’ve been with it ever since. My first system cost just over $3000 USD including software.

I ride a motorcycle. A lot. I used to be a long rider but age has caught up to me, I rarely ride over 500 miles in a day now. I love to travel the backroads of the western US and really love reporting those travels on Steem.

I’m too fond of the title to call myself a writer, but I do stack words together from time to time. Almost exclusively non-fiction and often researched articles. I actually love the research and new knowledge at least as much as the writing.

I’ve been part of several projects on the Steem blockchain. Some will be remembered and some will be deservedly forgotten. I am incredibly happy to be selected to be a part of the OCD curation team, this is clearly one that will be remembered.

I really should get myself a newer picture, I’ve had hair for over 5 years, but this is pretty representative of me. With a motorcycle in a very remote location.

I really look forward to getting to know my fellow OCD curators. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for this opportunity.

Hi everyone, I'm Futuremind. My interests are pretty vast, but to keep it brief, I'm someone who's artistic by nature, and feel at home with a guitar in my hands. I also love tech and science. I'm curious and love to learn. An INFJ, I have a high introversion rate, but that doesn't mean that I don't love socializing and getting to know people. Empathy for others, and what I consider to be a strict moral compass for myself is how I choose to live, with my message being "Never give up", because life can be difficult, but with perseverance and a drive to succeed, you might surprise yourself and accomplish things you never thought were possible!

I started my journey with Steem on December 22nd of 2017, with the desire to share my talent(s) and share my perspective with others. I had never been a blogger before, and so it was essential for me to learn many things along the way, and the learning does not stop! During this journey, I was driven to become a curator, and succeeded with this goal. I curate for eSteem, Helpie, and now for OCD as well!

I am a fan of cats, not Batman's.

I have been on Steemit for almost 2 years. Except for sharing my works and life experience, I have involved with more and more communities within the 2 years, such as Fundition, nTOPAZ, dPet.

I also write posts on my personal blog to promote Steemit and introduce cryptocurrency sometimes.

I am glad I have the opportunities to contribute to Steemit through OCD after I worked for those communities mentioned above.

I am a computer animator working in advertisement and animation in real life. And I have been trained in the music professional class for 10 years when I was young.

So I think I will focus on finding out underrated art and music posts since many OCD curators already do their great jobs on looking for good writing. I will also search for other different topics posts with high-quality photos.

I am excited about my new position and ready to make more friends through my job.

I don't really know who I am. I have bipolar mood swings and bad knees which can affect each other.

Anyways, I like science. Nature at first, and basically thats it everything related to nature and laws of the universe. Figuring out how things work gives me enormous joy and reason for doing things. And regarding science, I like it in the purest form, and not that all mumbo-jumbo popular stuff that dilute everything and even sends wrong messages.
I like this, and I like that, are not my way of talking and there are more things that I don't like but it is not the time to be dark. I love to laugh, and I have no eyes, at least when I laugh and most people consider me to be have some Russian ancestors, but I love to believe that part of that is Mongolian. apart from obvious Serbian ones :D

Anyway in Australia now - waiting for the summer (If I survive till then). Big sucker for poetry, and music especially if they are fused together.

Hey all! I’m @soyrosa, or ‘Rosanne’ off-Steem, living in The Netherlands and on Steem.

I’m a photographer, eater of chocolate, and traveler. The main interest throughout all my life is psychology though, which is what I studied and got my Masters Degree for. I’ve always said I’d love to get paid to just sit in a corner and observe people - I see and notice a lot and people feel comfortable coming to me for advise or sharing life’s stories. Which is awesome.

Life’s stories are in my opinion what makes the Steem blogging community incredibly valuable: there’s content that anyone could’ve written, but your life’s story… That one is only yours.

Let’s say I could just pick a life story over any other post if I encounter it :wink: Steem for me is about rewarding people, not generic articles. Other posts I’ll curate might be photography, travel or art related. The more personal, the more unique, the better.

I’m in awe I was invited as an OCD Curator as this is a beautiful project with real sharing in mind - I’m proud to be part of this team.

Hi everyone! I am @newageinv on the great Steem blockchain and have been around since the end of December 2017! It has been a wonderful journey so far despite what many others consider as I have seen the amazing amount of collaboration communities have had to build and expand the great ecosystem that is Steem. I learned early that engagement was the key but also that I am hardly a good content creator as many in the community have amazing content to share. Therefore, as I grew my account I started to focus on improving and expanding my curation abilities and reach.

I have been in the finance world since College and continue to work in the financial services industry. This brought me to cryptocurrencies in 2017 which was great timing as I was able to benefit from most gains before the crash of 2018. I was able to build a portfolio of cryptocurrencies which I often share to engage and discuss in order to get perspectives. However, I have come to appreciate much more than the financial potential of blockchain technology as I went down the rabbit hole with Steem and its great community.

Although I consider myself and investor first, I want the Steem ecosystem to become an economic digital platform where many sectors of industry and society come together to build projects for more transparency and monetary sovereignty for people from everywhere. I believe that together value can be built with the right motivation and support of one another. I have focused my time in curation for small accounts and engaging new users with their introduction posts as they hold the key to value creation in my opinion.

I started engaging with OCD and the community trying to get whitelisted to grow my account and incentivized curators and ended up as a curator which has made me proud to be here and striving to engage actively as time permits. I think this is just getting started and the best is yet to come!

I am RandomWanderings, but feel free to call me Gene if you'd like. Many have taken to calling me "ranwan" even. In my life away from Steem, I am currently writing my third book: A Twilight Zone Trivia Book & Encyclopedia. My previous books were trivia books all about the Friday the 13th and Halloween movie franchises. In support of the books I write and other items my wife and I make, we travel and participate in different Comic Cons and other related shows throughout the year. (The photo shown was taken at a 5-week Halloween Festival we do every year. All vendors must dress up in some way. My solution? Hide behind a mask!) I also likely watch more television in a week than most watch in a month. That's not meant to be a brag, but just a sad glimpse into my life.

I joined Steem during the final week of 2017. By February 2018, I was a curator with Curie, and since then the majority of my time here on the platform has been spent curating great content. In May 2018, I co-founded another curation group, @c-squared / @c-cubed. It just celebrated its first birthday and continues to grow. Of course one can never have too many outlets for content curation, so in April 2019 I joined the ranks of OCD as a curator. At some point, I plan to find a nice balance between creating my own posts and curating everyone else's, but for now I am on the lookout for all your great content, so keep writing and posting it!
