Are you talking about a hobby? ... I really could not understand the depths of expression expressed here.
But the point is we do things because it makes us happy, because it as you mentioned activates our sweet side of mood... its not to change the world or earn money.
But even then, value is not like how can I put it be recognized. I wonder why herat Bhagats books are a hit, when I feel all of them are a insult to literature.
So...commerialisation cheapens things and this is sickening indeed.
That's why after a whle people leave their corporate jobs and do what they like, some of them actually create impact...lots of examples.
It's about being true to yourself, your passions and the courage to keep it alive. Definitely you will shine one day.
Imran Khan is an example too...he died recently ... great ator, it took a long while for him to make it in the film industry and he does roles of depth and charactor, not the usual hero stuff.
There is a room for charm, innoccense, beauty, love and joy, else what's the point of life atall!!
The problem, we are not truely free?, are we, from society, from fear, family obligations, expections...
Anyway...
In the end, we all want to be happy, I would also like to do things that change something in a positive way, but that's not compulsary, we work towards it, its hard work. Anyway.
