A Cornish Adventure...

As people who read my posts know, I absolutely adore Cornwall. Once place I do plan on visiting whenever I go is St Micheals Mount, which is only part of the mainland when the tide goes out.

I love the blue seas, and how peaceful it is in the small town called Marazion, which is on the mainland before you head over to the mount.

Marazion was once one of the main towns in Cornwall in the very old days, but now Penzance is one of the main places, which isn't too far from Marazion.

On the island there are beautiful old buildings, great places for food and yes, the big house, which was also a garrison at one point.
My favourite part of the house however, was the Chapel, it really does have character.

I was told that most of the workers on the island live in the houses on there, that must be fantastic, although must also have it's downside, especially if you need something from the mainland in an emergency when the tide is in lol.

Although, I bet it's lovely and quiet at night.

I've never been happy with the shots I've got of St Micheals Mount, as it's always been clear skies and shooting into the sun, but I can't complain as I'm on holiday when I am down that part of the world.
I do plan on getting some shots this year at a later time in the day, as I am down there in September rather than June, fingers crossed there will be no further lockdowns.

A good thing about going to the island is that there are boats you can get pretty cheap when the tide is in, and when it's out, you can walk the road.
