Chainsaw carved Pig lamp bases

in #ocd4 years ago

Hello and good morning to all!
Today I'd like to share a project I carved a couple years ago for a good client.
I have done a few bear and owl lamps but never pigs, this was a first.

Will share the beginning and the end with a few cuts in between..

After detailing...carving pigs is much like carving chunky bears..besides the snout, ears and hooves of course.

This was after a slight burn and sand..

My client had the hardware for the lamps, he just needed the holes drilled. So they were all finished, a fun project for sure.

I hope you enjoyed seeing what I saw, if so feel free to upvote and reblog. I love what I do and I'm happy to share here on Peakd. Thank you all for looking and have a great day.

Those are some really cool looking pigs! I love the color on them, it makes them look really interesting. That would be some cool looking lamps lol

Thank you @cmplxty, hey I also want to thank you for sharing how to transfer from steem to hive with the swap app. I managed to transfer just before the servers caught fire. Doubled my hive power

That’s great! I’m glad you were able to. I haven’t heard of what happened yet lol
