RE: Operation Curation Delegation is looking for 5 more english curators!

in #ocd7 years ago

Thanks @acidyo for this wonderful opportunity.

I'm a minnow myself who always look out for quality contents to read in other to gain more knowledge. There are a lot of quality contents on steeemit that are undervalued due to low recognition.

I spend a lot of time on steemit, on an average 6 -8 hours daily, reading and checking out quality content. Most contents do not get the neccessary attention they ought to, but if I'm been choosen as a curator I will make sure I sort out original and quality contents to be curated in other to encourage the authors to write more quality posts.

I will focus on science, poetry and geology genre because when I was doing my research I found out that quality contents are been posted on this genres and the authors get little or no rewards due to low recognition. I also engage others on their posts by always leaving a comment when I read their post.

Some weeks ago, I won a contest and was delegated a little SP, with the little $ my upvote is worth I have been able to add value to quality contents posted by minnows. Helping newcomers get rewarded for their quality contents is my utmost desire. Even with my little SP i always go out in search of undervalued quality contents to upvote, in order to encourage the author to do more. Becoming a part of the OCD team will give me more privilege to help the newcomers.

I'm a member of @africanunchained where newcomers and minnows are educated and encouraged to write quality and original contents and we are really doing well with that. With just some few weeks on this community, I have really learnt alot that will help OCD move forward and also in helping authors get rewarded for their original and quality contents.
