Through this community service, we hope to provide an understanding that maintaining a healthy and clean lifestyle is very important for a healthy body in old age.
In this opening, we also convey that the elderly posyandu program held in Karang Anyar village is hoped to be able to help the community, especially the elderly, so they can maintain a healthy body. And maintain a lifestyle starting from limiting activities that are too strenuous to maintaining a good and correct diet.
Distribution of soy milk
Every day we are advised to consume a glass of milk as a complement to daily nutritional intake. However, it doesn't have to be cow's milk, we can also consume soy milk because it also has many benefits when taken regularly. Actually, both cow's milk and soy milk have their respective advantages. However, in order for us to get the full benefits, it's better if we combine the two. Unfortunately, maybe not all of us can consume cow's milk because if the condition of the body is lactose intolerant, then this will cause digestive disorders, such as diarrhea, nausea, or stomach becomes bloated when consuming it. Therefore, soy milk can be an alternative choice to supplement daily nutritional intake.
That's why we took the initiative to distribute soy milk to the elderly who come to posyandu as a form of appreciation for their arrival and to add vitamins for health.
