There will always be a place for centralized authority, but blockchain offers an alternative for places decentralized works better. Arguing with eachother is silly, since it isn't zero-sum. The same is true for different blockchains. But we don't really need 10000 of them doing the same thing or new chains with minor changes. This is why they need to be distributed so you don't get biases from greedy stakeholders.
Helping with introduceyourself seems good. I don't think I ever used that tag and my first post sucked, not that I care too much. I did onboard someone recently and to be honest the number of spammers and scammers using that tag attracted was scary. I don't blame people for wanting to help or jumping on fresh meat, but seriously there is no coordinated effort. Perhaps someone should create a guide for first-time posters and then ask them to do a questionnaire for 2nd post or just simple comment reply, then the separate communities can jump in based on that. For example, if I tick yes to music, but no to gambling, this is important information.
This bot is great, I plan to increase my delegation to OCD. I figured this part out and I don't want to delegate to people who annoy anymore even if it is more profitable. In the end OCD is more profitable because it is doing good.
