Very pretty, Ally... I love the arrangement and the colours, and the little details that you've placed so that the elements present their own little voices in the composition. Those tiny dark dots on the leaves, they are such great attention to details!
Love the text too, it is good to always be open to change :) The world, in turn, opens up to those of us who are ready to embrace the unknown paths :)
I'm so pleased that you like this relatively simple arrangement Spider. The tiny dark dots are actually the seeds within the paper-like sheaths. I love the accent they give. It's the small things in nature that make us open our eyes to her wonder.
In a world of outer turmoil, we have to stay true to ourselves at any given moment, so as to be flexible and act from 'The Now' ~ Not limited or restricted by how things or our thoughts have been in the past ~ Even yesterday or an hour ago. As they say, the only thing in life that is constant is change.

So pretty as always! I do love your sentiment, as well, though I think many of us seem to lose that flexibility of heart and mind as we get older. I think this is a great reminder to try to not get so set in our ways and accept that constant change is a part of life. :)

I am too late for a comment that would count for anything but I did want to stop in and say how much you are missed and let you know that there is such a Tranquility about your writings and the photographs. They touched my heart and the Simplicity of it confuses my brain with how breathtaking it all is. The colors that flow into one another and the added feathers give it a soft floating look. You always touch just the right cord. I am glad to see that you're out and about and hopefully we'll see you posting again. I can no longer up for this but I will leave you with a !tip.

I have come back to your comment quite a few times over the past few weeks Denise and each time the appreciation goes a little deeper. Thank you so much.
I'm trying to move back into drawing again and still finding it so very challenging. I have all the art materials I need now ~ New drawing pastel pencils ~ And an idea for a series of works that has stemmed from a theme set recently at MakersPlace: Fragile Balance. I could work with this theme for the rest of my life now. But it has to start very simply and hopefully today now.
