Wow, you actually visited Astana?!
I heard the people are super kind there and that it's very multi-cultural.

I didn't go inside the Pyramid and the tower. But I went inside that huge tent shopping mall, the top floor was cool, it was a swimming pool where you can have some cocktails.
I really loved the Astana expo building, super cool architecture.
Very international yea, you find everything, all kinds of restaurants and bars, with cheaper price than in Europe. People in Cetral Asia are quite nice!
It is indeed super windy and cold (visited late May, still cold)...
Luckily some residence apartments have a playground inside, so local kids can play inside. But still, I have a Kazakh friend living there who prefer living in Almaty because of the weather.
