Why I stopped dieting

Hey,

It's me again, hope you had a good week and are ready for the weekend! I thought i would write about my decision to stop dieting and have a different approach.

Obviously after my daughter was born, I could've jumped on any of the fad diets, weather it would be low fat or low carb (there are loads of different names for them, but it basically comes down to these 2 macro nutrients how your diet works ). But I didn't. I've tried quite a few times before and failed every single time, few times i would get where I wanted to be, but then would be back to my previous weight or even heavier within a couple of months. And loads of people have the same issue....Loads!

So here is my take on it, people that get on these diets, started loosing weight rapidly at the beginning and feel great. Especially the low carb diets as carbohydrates retain water, so once you deprive yourself of carbs, your body manages to get rid of quite a bit o water, hence it looks like you are loosing fat for the first couple of weeks, where actually you're just loosing water....
Then after a few weeks your body start craving for the foods you've cut out more and more, when eventually (like 90% of people that diet, including me) you would give in, have a day of binge on your favourite food, feel like crap, decide the the diet is not for you and quit. Sounds familiar? I've done it soooo many times :D

So anyway, I will show you guys a better way a better way to get where you want to be and stay there, weather to loose or gain weight!

P.S. I'm training for my first comp, so gaining good muscle mass can be achieved with clean eating as well!
