RE: My 3 months of zero sugars, carbs or trans fats experiment - Part 1 of 12 -

Awesome good luck! I am doing a 28 day sugar detox at the moment and Im up to day 15. The first few days are the hardest and then the cravings go away as your body adapts.
Some tips from me:
HYDRATE! - this will help stop the cravings
Flavour your food with alternatives such as spices etc so they arent so bland.
Blog about your struggles - people on Steemit are very encouraging!

Hi Conrad! I am glad you connected. I will check it out your blog right now. I completely agree with your tips and thanks for them.

At the moment I haven't had any struggles really, as I have been fat adapted for a long while. My second post is already out in case you want to have a look.

Yes, I agree to share struggles with our community, but hopefully I don't have a lot to share in that department.

The way I see it, is that I may extend this way of eating and make it into the way I live life every day. Maybe give myself 3 meals a week where I can eat whatever I feel like, followed by intermitent fasting to repair any damage from the insulin response.

Cheers and sorry I took so long to answer!
