this snail shell (i've brought back from a trip to Ladoga skerries) size is only 15mm. I captured it using 3 macro coils, and my current macro lineup (Canon 5D +Sigma 150mm). Also added extra lighting, .raw conversion applied. I am about to be happy about the magnification scale... at last. seems, 3 coils gave the result. (I tried using one coil at once in my previous takes).
thanks for your advices, @chanych85, @miroslavrc
It is so beautiful color looks like shiny pearl color.

2.8 и ни стопом меньше. клянусь маминым здоровьем, я не нарочно! просто света нехватает даже от 2х ламп.

So pretty @qwerrie! I love how the lines on the shell shows itself. I am happy to see the coils too :) I think it would look really cute with some googlyeyes? :D
yes, the lines turned out well, into a nice-looking pearl texture. I tell you even more: this shell would be a great 'mesmerizing eye'. I already thought about it. Sadly, I dont have a pair, only one shell... so I cant take a pic, using it as a pair of eyes. Would be nive to see. I will look around to get another -- next Summer. @marblely
