A small drawing I made as a reason to use it as an image for my thesis when I graduated in graphic design in 2010. My thesis consisted of a small manual on how to make comics, using artisanal and digital techniques, it occurred to me that the image of said manual is a girl manga style with a background made with ink spots, which I did with a set of brushes that I got from photoshop thanks to a design magazine I bought.

Do you do your line arts on paper then scan them or do you have a tablet and just create the line art directly on digital canvas?
unfortunately I do not have a tablet, I use pencil and paper in my sketches, I did it in photoshop, here is one of my tuturiales where I show how is my process:
